Super cozy 2-person retro holiday home in the Achterhoek

This super cozy 2 person holiday home is located in the beautiful town of Netterden in the Achterhoek. It is decorated in the 60s style but equipped with all kinds of modern conveniences such as WiFi and a digital TV. The detached holiday home is situated on a private property and has a beautiful view over the farmlands from the garden. De Achterhoek is known for its peace, space and its geniality. Add to this the country estates, the imposing trees, the castles, the villages with a good store base and the many cycling and walking routes and there are the ingredients for a relaxing stay in nature.

This nice and completely ground floor cottage has a large spacious living room with sitting area, dining area and TV. The open kitchen has a four-burner stove, microwave, filter coffee maker and a refrigerator. There is one bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink.

Outside a lovely garden with terrace and garden furniture. From the garden you have a beautiful view over the fields.In the shed next to the holiday home there is plenty of room to, for example, safely store your bicycles.

Netterden, Gelderland

Netterden is located near the German border in the Achterhoek: a region with forests, estates, castles, small rivers, picturesque villages and pretty historic towns. Its small-scale and friendly character makes it an ideal place to relax. The beautiful countryside is perfect for cycling or hiking. Would you like a day out? Go to Mega Pret in Lievelde, visit Moezeköttel and learn about the housing situation after World War II, walk and taste wine at Wijngoed Montferland or visit Museum für Kaffeetechnik just across the German border. For tasty restaurants, visit nearby 's-Heerenberg or Doetinchem.

We had two wonderful weeks of cycling in the area. Annie is a fantastic hostess, and upon arrival, we received a delicious cup of coffee. The cottage was very cozy and simple, which is what we like. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept wonderfully.
