Super cozy 2-person retro holiday home in the Achterhoek
This super cozy 2 person holiday home is located in the beautiful town of Netterden in the Achterhoek. It is decorated in the 60s style but equipped with all kinds of modern conveniences such as WiFi and a digital TV. The detached holiday home is situated on a private property and has a beautiful view over the farmlands from the garden. De Achterhoek is known for its peace, space and its geniality. Add to this the country estates, the imposing trees, the castles, the villages with a good store base and the many cycling and walking routes and there are the ingredients for a relaxing stay in nature.
This nice and completely ground floor cottage has a large spacious living room with sitting area, dining area and TV. The open kitchen has a four-burner stove, microwave, filter coffee maker and a refrigerator. There is one bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink.
Outside a lovely garden with terrace and garden furniture. From the garden you have a beautiful view over the fields.In the shed next to the holiday home there is plenty of room to, for example, safely store your bicycles.

The cottage was very 'retro', meaning we found it outdated. It was very clean, though, but the boiler for the shower was too small (15 liters!). A bed that blocks half the passageway is dangerous. The lack of a door between the bedroom and the toilet is unpleasant. Situated under the trees, it is very dark; no sun comes in. The owner was particularly nice, though!
Het huisje was erg 'retro', d.w.z. wij vonden het achterhaald. Wel goed schoon, maar een te kleine boiler voor de douche (15 lt!), Een bed wat de halve doorgang blokkeert is gevaarlijk. Geen deur tussen slaapkamer en de wc is niet prettig. Onder de bomen is het erg donker gelegen, er komt geen zon binnen. Wel een bijzonder aardige eigenaresse!

We were received very kindly and hospitably by the hostess. The cottage looked neat and had good beds and a mosquito net in the bedroom! The only downside was the lack of an extractor hood. It is a great place for cycling and walking, especially in the 's-Heerenberg area.
Wij zijn zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen door de gastvrouw. Het huisje zag er netjes uit en had goede bedden en een hor op de slaapkamer! Het enige minpuntje was het ontbreken van een afzuigkap. Je kunt er goed fietsen en wandelen, vooral in omgeving 's-Heerenberg.
