This cozy farmhouse is suitable for four people and is located in a spacious family park. The farmhouses all have a spacious living room and are equipped with free wireless internet. You can relax on your own terrace with garden furniture. Based on availability, you can reserve a farmhouse with a wood-burning stove or a decorative fireplace. The natural environment offers many opportunities for beautiful walking, cycling and boating trips.
Layout
These authentic four-person farmhouses have a spacious living room with television and DVD player. In the open kitchen you will find sufficient inventory for at least four people, a dishwasher, Senseo and filter coffee maker and a combination microwave. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor and the other bedroom is on the first floor. Both bedrooms have two single beds. The luxurious bathroom has a shower cabin. You will also find a separate toilet and a storage room on the ground floor. In the house you can use wireless internet for free and there is a washing machine and dryer at your disposal.
Outside you can relax on your own terrace with garden furniture. There is a shed in your garden where you can safely store your bicycles. There is room for one car at the farm. You can park a second car in the central parking lot.

Location and surroundings
IJhorst is a village in the municipality of Staphorst, where the stork is a familiar sight. The Ooievaarscentrum De Lokkerij was established in 1981 on the initiative of the Nature Conservancy to bring the stork back to the Dutch landscape. With results: the number of breeding pairs is still increasing! De Lokkerij is open for visits during the summer months, definitely worth a visit. The surroundings are easy to explore by bike or on foot: you will discover the Reest valley, the Zwarte Dennen or the Staphorst forestry. Surrounding towns such as Zwolle, Meppel, Hoogeveen and Steenwijk are also recommended: here you can enjoy a terrace, a museum, the many shops or a cosy restaurant.
