The village of IJhorst is near Meppel and is surrounded by extensive forests in a beautiful bocage landscape. The Reest River meanders through this stunning landscape. Beautiful cycling routes have been created along the Reest River, cutting through the woods and surrounding villages. When the weather warms up, you can take a refreshing dip in the natural swimming pond "De Zwarte Dennen" (The Black Pines) in the nearby forest. The pond boasts a beautiful sandy beach, spacious lawns, and a playground for children. The park itself offers a lovely tennis court, a small outdoor swimming pool, and a lovely fishing pond. This chalet, suitable for four people, features a cozy living room with a dining area and a sitting area with a television.
