This new holiday park is centrally located on the delightful Wadden Island of Texel, just 3,500 meters from the North Sea beach at De Koog. Texel is a true walking and cycling island. Besides hiking and cycling routes, there are also mountain bike trails. Explore the polders and dunes, the vast heathlands and forests. Boats depart from Oudeschild for trips across the Wadden Sea. Take a sail to watch seals, board a shrimp trawler, or take a trip aboard an authentic sailing ship. While staying on Texel, a visit to the Ecomare Seal Centre is also definitely worthwhile. Texel is rich in nature reserves, the most famous of which is the Slufter. The area has an open connection to the North Sea, and most of it is a breeding and resting area for birds. Another bird sanctuary is the Waalenburg Polder.
