Europarcs De Koog holiday park centrally located on Texel.

EuroParcs De Koog is centrally located on the wonderful Wadden Island of Texel and 3500 meters from the North Sea beach of De Koog. Texel is a real walking and cycling island. In addition to hiking and cycling routes, mountain bike routes have also been mapped out. Explore the polders and dunes, the vast moors and forests. Ships depart from Oudeschild for a trip across the Wadden Sea. Sail along to watch seals, board a shrimp cutter or take a trip aboard an authentic sailing ship. When staying on Texel, it is definitely worth visiting the Ecomare Seal Center. Texel is rich in nature reserves, of which the Slufter is the best known. The area has an open connection to the North Sea and most of it is a bird breeding and resting area. Another bird area is the Waalenburg polder.

There is a reception with area information, cycling and walking routes, rental of bicycles and rental of E-choppers. There is also a playground for the kids and a mini market with bread service.

The Wadden Island of Texel is a nature-rich island with much unspoiled nature. The island has its own national park: Dunes of Texel National Park. Rent a bicycle or scooter and discover the beautiful Wadden Island at your own pace, or take a long walk along one of the many walking paths that run through the dunes and past green and beautiful heathlands. Visit Ecomare, a seal and bird sanctuary that also features a marine aquarium and museum where you can learn all about the North Sea. Texel Lighthouse is certainly worth a visit as well, but you can also go golfing, paragliding, or enjoy (specialty) beers at the Texel Brewery.
