The house features air conditioning, ensuring a pleasant stay even during warm summer days. Westerhaar is located midway between Hardenberg and Almelo. The protected nature reserve Engbertsdijkvenen, with its heathland, fens, peat bogs, and peat museum, is located two kilometers from the holiday cottage and is definitely worth a visit. A swimming pond, fishing pond, and bus stop are located 200 meters away. In Westerhaar, there is a supermarket, butcher, ice cream parlor, restaurant, pizzeria, cafeteria, and a farm shop. Nearby are charming villages such as Hellendoorn, Hardenberg, Dedemsvaart, Ommen, Ootmarsum, and Tubbergen.
