Compact Tinyhouse for 4 with ambient fireplace on a holiday park in Voorthuizen

For those looking for a cosy and comfortable base in the middle of nature, this tiny house offers everything for a relaxing stay. The holiday home is located in a natural holiday park on the Veluwe with facilities for young and old, including a large indoor and outdoor pool with whirlpool, Brasserie and animal pasture. Its location in the Veluwe invites you to go hiking, cycling or visit nearby attractions such as Apenheul or recreational lake Zeumeren. The interior of the holiday home is cosy and compact, with an atmospheric fireplace. The holiday home has two bedrooms. The upper floor is a loft, the height of this sleeping area is lower than the normal ceiling height. The second sleeping area is in the dining area. Here, the table and sofa can be converted into a double bed. Outside, enjoy the peace and quiet and the greenery around you.

  • From late October through March, the swimming pool is closed, and other park facilities have limited opening hours.
  • You can park your car in the central parking lot. Parking near the house is not permitted.
  • It is not permitted to book a home with a youth group.

Location and surroundings

Voorthuizen, Gelderland

Voorthuizen is a beautiful place in the midst of beautiful nature and also a fine place to stay for exploring the area. For example, Zeumeren is a beautiful lake where you can swim and where many water sports are also practiced. Think of surfing, pedal boats, water skiing and canoeing, but in winter you can also enjoy hiking and cycling in the area. Real fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the nearby Aanschotergat fishing lake. From Voorthuizen you can be in the National Park De Hoge Veluwe in the blink of an eye, where you can go cycling. Apeldoorn, where you can visit the Julianatoren amusement park or Het Loo Palace, is also close by, and in Voorthuizen itself there are many pleasant terraces and restaurants.

First the cons:
Cottage smelt musty, couple of blinds faulty, bed was a mattress in a loft, view was not at all like Delightful Cottages showed in the picture (no free lawn but other cottages). That was unfortunate.
Still had a good time, facilities were good, fridge/shower/cooker fine and park well organised.
