5-star holiday park Ackersate on the Veluwe
Holiday park Ackersate is located in the middle of the Veluwe near the place Voorthuizen. This five-star Holiday Park has many facilities and is therefore ideal for an active holiday. In the school holidays there is an animation team that organizes many fun activities for young and old, there is an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool with whirlpool, a trampoline park, animal meadow, tennis court, water playground miniature golf etc. In the evening a nice bite to eat in the restaurant, or a quick bite in the snack bar. Nice cycling or walking through the Veluwe forests. Let it happen on the Veluwe!

Particularities
- The swimming pool will be closed between 28 October and 29 March. The other facilities at the park are limited. The restaurant is open every Thurs-Fri-Sat.
- You can park your car in the central car park. It is not allowed to park your car near the house.
- Wifi is free on the entire park.

General
There is a reception with bicycle and E-bike rental, laundry, and a shop for all daily groceries.
Sport and game
Tennis court, Miniature golf, Trampoline park, Panna cage, Indoor sports corner, Football pitch, Basketball, Boules pitch, Volleyball court. During school holidays there is an animation team, there is also a large water playground, ordinary playgrounds, an animal meadow, a bouncy castle.
Swimming
There is a nice indoor pool with slides and a whirlpool, for the toddlers there is a nice paddling pool with a splash area. There is also a beautiful heated outdoor pool. (The swimming pools are closed from end of Oktober to end of March) The recreational lake Zeumeren is close by.
Horeca
In the park there is a good restaurant with a nice menu, for the quick bite or a snack you can go to the snack bar. An extensive ice cream assortment can be found in the ice corner.

Location and surroundings
Voorthuizen is a beautiful place in the midst of beautiful nature and also a fine place to stay for exploring the area. For example, Zeumeren is a beautiful lake where you can swim and where many water sports are also practiced. Think of surfing, pedal boats, water skiing and canoeing, but in winter you can also enjoy hiking and cycling in the area. Real fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the nearby Aanschotergat fishing lake. From Voorthuizen you can be in the National Park De Hoge Veluwe in the blink of an eye, where you can go cycling. Apeldoorn, where you can visit the Julianatoren amusement park or Het Loo Palace, is also close by, and in Voorthuizen itself there are many pleasant terraces and restaurants.
