Voorthuizen, Gelderland
Voorthuizen is a beautiful place in the midst of beautiful nature and also a fine place to stay for exploring the area. For example, Zeumeren is a beautiful lake where you can swim and where many water sports are also practiced. Think of surfing, pedal boats, water skiing and canoeing, but in winter you can also enjoy hiking and cycling in the area. Real fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the nearby Aanschotergat fishing lake. From Voorthuizen you can be in the National Park De Hoge Veluwe in the blink of an eye, where you can go cycling. Apeldoorn, where you can visit the Julianatoren amusement park or Het Loo Palace, is also close by, and in Voorthuizen itself there are many pleasant terraces and restaurants.

Welcoming and friendly staff. Clean and beautiful cottage (though noisy with, for example, the toilet, bathroom, and other rooms). The park is beautiful and tidy. The football pitches have deep holes, which is why the children didn't want to play there, afraid of spraining their ankles; perhaps that could be leveled out?

The children loved the swimming pool. The cottage was good. The location of the park was nice because there is plenty to do in the surrounding area.
