This group accommodation is suitable for max. 10 persons and is situated on holiday park Ruinen. On the holiday park there are several facilities including entertainment during the season, indoor and outdoor playground, indoor pool, petting zoo, bike rental, launderette, snack bar and park shop. From this holiday park, National Park Dwingelderveld can be reached by bike within fifteen minutes. The surroundings are perfect to explore by bike or on foot. During your stay, you can also visit Ruinen, the Hunebedden in Havelte and Diever or the city Meppel.

This group accommodation has a living room with a sitting and dining area and a pellet stove. The open kitchen is equipped with a cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. There are five bedrooms in total. 2 of the bedrooms are equipped with a bed for 2 persons. The other bedrooms have two single beds. Please note that 1 of the bedrooms is accessible via a steep staircase. There are 2 bathrooms with a sink and shower. In addition, there are 2 separate toilets. Outside you will find a furnished terrace. Free Wi-Fi is available. You can park your car in the central parking lot near the chalet.

Ruinen, Drenthe
The village of Ruinen in Drenthe is located next to the beautiful Dwingelderveld National Park: a national park full of interesting flora and fauna and the ideal environment for cycling and walking tours. The sheep flock is definitely worth a visit. Every morning, the huge flock of sheep departs from the pen onto the Dwingelose moor and returns at the end of the day, a special spectacle to behold. Want to delve into the fascinating history of this region? Then visit the Memorial Centre Camp Westerbork, Museum Village Orvelte or see one of the many dolmens in the area. Want a great day out with the kids? Visit the Slagharen amusement park or go swimming in the Blauwe Meer in summer.

Nice, atmospheric cottage, small bedrooms that require a flexible body to get in and out of bed properly. Not large, but practically laid out, allowing us to have a nice weekend there with ten people. The cottage was dusty and there were many cobwebs. As compensation, we received free tickets for mini-golf. Well arranged! Otherwise, a beautiful park.
