Versatile nature, forests, heathland, sand drifts, country estates, historic mills and the rivers Vecht and Regge bring people who love peace and nature to Ommen. This unique town, located in the heart of the Vecht valley, is therefore the perfect base for excursions in this area. Indeed, you can take the boat to Dalfsen from here. Moreover, the city of Zwolle is also a stone's throw away, where you can enjoy cafés, museums and many shops. Fortunately, Ommen itself also has more than enough to offer. There are several museums: the Streekmuseum, the Vliegermuseum and the Landbouwmuseum are recommended, but the studios are also beautiful and the pavement cafés beckon for a nice bite to eat and a drink.
