Located in the picturesque West Frisian countryside and with its rich history and various museums, such as the War Museum Medemblik and Castle Radboud, Medemblik is an ideal base for hiking, cycling, swimming and kite surfing. Also visit nearby Enkhuizen, known for its Zuiderzee Museum and beautiful historic town centre.
