Nice 4 person holiday home in the middle of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug
Come and enjoy this four-person holiday home and the wonderful nature of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. The chalet is located on a holiday park that radiates tranquility. There is a playground for children and the forest pool Henschotermeer is within walking distance. Rent bicycles at the reception and discover this beautiful part of the Netherlands, with its forests, heaths, sand drifts, barrages, grassland, water and height differences by bicycle. Due to the central location, there are many nice trips. How about sniffing culture or shopping in the nice cities of Amersfoort and Utrecht. In short, all ingredients are available for a natural holiday pur sang!
The living room has a dining area and a sitting area with television. In the kitchen you will find a refrigerator with freezer, four-burner stove, microwave, kettle and filter coffee maker. There are two bedrooms, both with two single beds. The bathroom has a shower cabin and toilet. There is a lovely terrace with garden furniture. You can park one car at your holiday home.

Maarn is a special village nominated for Unesco's World Heritage List. In fact, Maarn is one of the last intact garden villages in the Netherlands. The village is located in the National Park De Utrechtse Heuvelrug which boasts a variety of landscapes and animals. The forests and estates are ideal for walkers, and there are also numerous beautiful routes for cyclists. For example, take the castle route that leads you through the woods from castle to castle or walk to the pleasant day recreation area Henschotermeer. Take up the challenge and climb the Zonheuvel, De Maarnse Berg, the Sint-Helenaheuvel or the Doornse Kaap. Prefer a day of shopping? Then head to Veenendaal, Amersfoort or Zeist.

Unfortunately, we found that the brasserie was closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so we couldn't order sandwiches. That was really frustrating.
Helaas liepen wij er tegenaan dat de brasserie op woensdag en donderdag gesloten was en we geen broodjes konden bestellen. Dat was echt niet fijn.

The cottage was perfect for our purposes. The weather could have been better, but despite that, we had a great time. We'd definitely stay again.
Voor ons doel was het huisje prima. Het weer had beter gekund, maar ondanks dat hebben we ons prima vermaakt. We vinden het voor herhaling vatbaar.

It was a nice house, but I miss a cupboard in the kitchen for putting something of your own in. I don't like to put everything on the counter or in the bedroom. Otherwise everything was to my liking. Greetings, Family Siegenthaler
Was een mooi huisje ,maar ik mis in de keuken een kastje voor iets van je eigen in te doen vindt het niet leuk om alles op de aanrecht te zetten of in de slaapkamer
