Kotten is a hamlet in the municipality of Winterswijk, in the Gelderland Achterhoek region. This picturesque destination is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet and for nature lovers. The many cycling and walking routes in the area lead past beautiful spots and nature reserves. Near Kotten, the Italian Lakes are a special attraction. These flooded clay pits owe their name to the blue-green color of their water. The towns of Winterswijk and Doetinchem are nearby and are definitely worth a visit.
