Because of its location in the National Park Weerribben Wieden, there are various cycling and hiking routes in the area. In the village, there are various catering establishments and the supermarket is always nearby. The nearby towns of Vollenhove, Blokzijl, Kalenberg and Ossenzijl are also worth a visit.
