Holiday home for 4 people on the canal in the center of Giethoorn with private terrace
The apartment sleeps four and is located at the front of a farmhouse. It's situated in the heart of the village of Giethoorn, on the village canal. Giethoorn is known for its canals, perfect for boating to your heart's content. There are also several restaurants and terraces. Giethoorn is also located in the Weerribben-Wieden National Park. The area is known for its beautiful cycling and hiking opportunities through nature, but there's also plenty to see on the water. Rent a boat or canoe for a fun day out.
The living room features a cozy sitting and dining area with a television. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner gas stove, fridge-freezer, kettle, filter coffee maker, and Nespresso machine. The bathroom is located on the ground floor and is equipped with a shower, sink, and toilet.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms with two single beds.
Outside, there is a furnished terrace and a storage room for your bicycles with charging facilities. Parking is available approximately 100 metres away in a public car park (paid). Free parking is available a little further away.

Sail through the water village, discover the cosy terraces and restaurants, and visit museums. Explore the surroundings by taking a nice walking or cycling tour through the beautiful park and discover the unique flora and fauna the park has to offer. Rather do something active? Then take to the heights at klimbos Paasloo. Fun for children! If you would like to visit a big city and go shopping, you can go to Steenwijk, Meppel or Zwolle.

We had a wonderful time! I can't comment on the hospitality, because of the key box. We did find the duvets a bit thick and warm (if we have to nitpick). It's nice when you can choose between thin or thick. And I'm personally always used to having some herbs or something, but there is absolutely nothing here. Good to know, though. Otherwise, a really nice and pleasant house.
We hebben het heerlijk gehad! Gastvrijheid kan ik niet over oordelen, want sleutelkastje. We vonden wel de dekbedden wat dik en warm (als we toch moeten zeuren). Fijn als je kan kiezen tussen dun of dik. En ik ben zelf altijd gewend dat er wel wat kruiden ofzo staan, maar er is helemaal niets. Wel handig om te weten.

Zusammenfassend war die Auszeit sehr gut. In the living room with a toaster and water cooker. I'm bad at not having a good time and using these handy tools. We still have our lives right now. Lieben Dank und Gruß
Zusammenfassend war die Auszeit sehr gut. In der Wohnung fehlte uns ein Toaster und Wasserkocher. Im Bad gab es keine Heizung🥶 und es fehlten Haken für die Handtücher. Dennoch haben wir uns dort recht wohl gefühlt. Lieben Dank und Gruß
