Luxury 12 person group accommodation with own boat | Giethoorn
This 12-person group accommodation consists of a communal area and three linked four-person hotel chalets. Each hotel chalet is suitable for 4 people and equipped with air conditioning. The group accommodation is located at holiday park Giethoorn. Rent includes boat! (electric Gieterse Punter). The holiday park is located in the center of Giethoorn. All holiday homes are located on the water. The park is also located directly on the 'Bovenwijde', a beautiful lake where you can enjoy boating, swimming and enjoying nature.
Layout
The common area is separate from the hotel chalets. In the spacious living room you will find a sitting area with television and two six-person dining tables. Adjacent is the open kitchen with, among other things, a dishwasher, fridge with freezer, combi microwave, refrigerator, five-burner stove, kettle and a coffee capsule machine. Through the patio doors you reach the covered terrace with 12-person garden furniture. This communal living space also has a storage room, one toilet and air conditioning. Each hotel chalet is suitable for four people and also equipped with air conditioning. There are two bedrooms per sleeping quarters; one with a double bed and one with two single beds. The bathrooms have a shower and toilet, the living rooms have a sitting area. You will also find a fridge with freezer compartment and a coffee pod machine with crockery. Good to know: Holiday park Giethoorn is car-free. The accommodations are surrounded by water and can only be reached by a steep footbridge. Parking is available in the central car park at Restaurant 't Vonder some 400 metres from the park.
Availability
Particularities
- From March to October, an electric boat is at your disposal, included in the price. This boat is moored at your holiday home and can be used privately throughout your stay. A charging point is located near your holiday home. Please note that the boat is not available from November to February inclusive.
- These holiday homes cannot be rented for business purposes and the main booker must be at least 21 years old.
- From 1 March to 1 November you have your own sloop at your holiday villa, for which you pay a service charge.
- Please note that a deposit of EUR 35 is required. This deposit for the boat does not come through in the booking process, but is calculated and you also pay it on site.
- If, on arrival, it is found that the travel party does not form a family, the park may charge an additional group deposit of EUR 50 per person.

Location and surroundings
Giethoorn's idyllic setting is thanks to National Park Weerribben-Wieden. From your cottage in Dutch Venice you step straight into the green world. Sail through the water village, discover the cosy terraces and restaurants, and visit museums. Explore the surroundings by taking a nice walking or cycling tour through the beautiful park and discover the unique flora and fauna the park has to offer. Rather do something active? Then take to the heights at klimbos Paasloo. Fun for children! If you would like to visit a big city and go shopping, you can go to Steenwijk, Meppel or Zwolle.
