At the entree of the park can you find the reception and diner Giethoorn. At the reception is a little shopping corner where a few shopping items can be bought. Further offers the park a shopping service, in cooperation with the nearby supermarket. At the reception can you also find lots of information about the surroundings and some biking- and walkingroutes. Bikes can be rented at the reception. The park is located at the water the Bovenwijde where you can fish (license needed) or sail.
The park is a carfree park, and because of the water the cars cannot get to the park. A parkingspace is located at ca. 400m distance. Upon arrival will you receive a parkingvoucher so you can enter the car park limitless with one car. Extra cars cost €3,50 per entrance. Upon arrival you can also lend a bagagetrolley to bring the luggage to the house, or you can use the boat which is located by the holidayhouse. At the entrance of the park is a high footpath bridge, which can be difficult to enter by people who are having trouble walking.

This is a luxury six-person holiday lodge and features free (wireless) internet. In and around your holiday home, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of and by the water. The holiday home consists of a spacious living room, dining area and open kitchen with dishwasher, combi microwave, coffee cup machine and fridge-freezer. The terrace can be accessed via folding doors. The master bedroom has a box-spring combination (double bed) and spacious wardrobes. The other two bedrooms have twin beds. This holiday home has no fewer than two comfortable bathrooms with shower, washbasin and toilet, so that you can enjoy sufficient privacy. This holiday home also has a separate toilet. Good to know: Holiday park Giethoorn is car-free. The accommodations are surrounded by water and can only be reached by a steep footbridge. Parking is available in the central car park at Restaurant 't Vonder some 400 metres from the park.
