Luxury 6 person chalet in a holiday resort in Drenthe

Beautiful six-person chalet on the cozy Vakantiepark Hunzepark. This holiday park is located in the town of Gasselternijveen. This family park is located on a large recreational lake, and has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. For a snack and drink you can go to the restaurant with a lovely terrace. During the school holidays there is an animation team that organizes the best activities. Holiday park Hunzepark is very suitable for young and old. In Drenthe, true nature lovers can indulge in the beautiful surroundings where you can take beautiful walks and bike rides.

Layout

The chalet has a cozy living room. There is an open kitchen with a combination microwave, filter coffee maker and dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. There are three bedrooms. One bedroom with two single beds and two bedrooms with bunk beds. Outside the house you will find a terrace with garden furniture. You can park your car in the central parking lot.

  • This type of holiday home includes properties that allow pets and that are pet-free. Are you unable to specify pets in the booking process for your travel party? Then unfortunately there is no holiday home available where pets are allowed.
  • These holiday homes cannot be rented for business purposes and the main booker must be at least 21 years old.
  • The park reserves the right to charge a deposit between EUR 50 and EUR 500 per person on site. This deposit depends on the group composition. Please take this into account when making your reservation.
  • The interior / exterior of these holiday homes may differ. 
  • The facilities are closed from the 1st of November untill the 1st of April.
  • This holidaypark does not allow cars, but you can bring your luggage to your holidayhome.
  • The outdoor swimming pool is open from early May to mid-September, this can be changed due to weather conditions. During the months when the pool is closed, from mid-September to the beginning of May, you can use the swimming paradise at Vakantiepark Hunzedal. This park is 15 minutes away by car.
  • Due to maintenance work, the swimming pool at Vakantiepark Hunzepark will be closed from Monday 6 January 2025 to Friday 17 January 2025.
  • From 2 to 4 September 2024, groups of students are staying at the park. They will have meetings in the catering industry, as a result the restaurant will be closed from 5pm on 2 and 3 September 2024. However, the snack bar will be open.

The village of Gasselternijveen lies on the Drentse heuvelrug, also known as the Hondsrug. Here you will find peace, beautiful nature, characteristic villages and, of course, the famous dolmens. A beautiful and varied environment to explore on foot or by bike. On the small rivers De Hunze and De Drentse Aa you can make nice canoe trips and the Zuidlaardermeer is ideal if you like swimming, fishing or sailing. For an educational day out, visit the Drents Museum in Assen, Herinneringscentrum Kamp Westerbork or Museumdorp Orvelte. Looking for more thrills? Go climbing and scrambling at Outdoor Klimpark Grolloo, walk metres above the ground at Boomkroonpad or visit Drouwenerzand amusement park.

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsene im Haus. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön für Spaziergänge. Alles war sauber. Die Betten waren gemütlich und wir haben dort gut geschlafen.

Alles in het park was gesloten. Bij het boeken werd aangegeven dat we in hunzedal konden zwemmen. Nu bleek dat er een verbouwing plaats vond en dit zwembad was gesloten. Dit stond in december tijdens het boeken niet op de site. Hadden we dit geweten dan hadden we ander park gekozen.
