Vakantiepark Hunzepark in Gasselternijveen
The cozy Vakantiepark Hunzepark is located in the town of Gasselternijveen. Since Gasselternijveen is located in Drenthe, real nature lovers can indulge in the beautiful surroundings where you can take beautiful walks and bike rides, among other things. This family park is located on a large recreational lake, and has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. For a snack and drink you can go to the restaurant with a lovely terrace. During the school holidays there is an animation team that organizes the best activities. Holiday park Hunzepark is very suitable for young and old.
Particularities
- These holiday homes cannot be rented for business purposes and the main booker must be at least 21 years old.
- The park reserves the right to charge a deposit between EUR 50 and EUR 500 per person on site. This deposit depends on the group composition. Please take this into account when making your reservation.
- The interior / exterior of these holiday homes may differ.
- The facilities are closed from the 1st of November untill the 1st of April.
- This holidaypark does not allow cars, but you can bring your luggage to your holidayhome.
- The outdoor swimming pool is open from early May to mid-September, this can be changed due to weather conditions. During the months when the pool is closed, from mid-September to the beginning of May, you can use the swimming paradise at Vakantiepark Hunzedal. This park is 15 minutes away by car.
- Due to maintenance work, the swimming pool at Vakantiepark Hunzepark will be closed from Monday 6 January 2025 to Friday 17 January 2025.

The park does not have to leave for a small message, because the holiday park has a (mini) supermarket where you can go for your daily life needs. You can also use your laundry at the launderette and the park has a free WiFi connection. You can rent a bicycle at the park, among other things. This way you can discover the beautiful Drenthe area by bicycle. The Drenthe cycle route network takes you past the most beautiful places in the area. In addition to bicycles, you can also rent a wagon at the park.
Children
For the children there is a playground available where they can play all day on the many playground equipment. Your children will never get bored at the Hunzepark holiday park!
Sport and game
At the holiday park you can use many sports facilities. For example, you can play a game of fun on the beach volleyball court, the tennis court, the petanque court and the tennis table. For a tough activity it is best to go to the archery range. For real fish lovers, there are also plenty of options at the holiday park.
Swimming
Holiday park Hunzepark has a wonderful heated outdoor swimming pool with a separate children's pool. Next to the swimming pool you will find a cozy sunbathing area with various play equipment where you can relax and enjoy the sun. The swimming pool also has two diving boards and a children's slide. When the outdoor swimming pool is closed in the winter period, you have free access to the subtropical swimming paradise of the nearby holiday park.
Catering establishments
At Vakantiepark Hunzepark you can enjoy the cozy snack bar. Here you have, among other things, the opportunity to have breakfast, a delicious lunch or to enjoy a nice dinner. The cozy bar is also open in the evening. This way you can enjoy a snack and drink at the bar in the evening. The restaurant is closed between November and the end of March.
