In addition to the luxury amenities in the house, the surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for nature lovers. Discover the Tree Crown Path or explore the Hunebed Centre in Borger. For a fun day out with children, Drouwenerzand amusement park is highly recommended. The holiday park itself also features various facilities, such as a restaurant and playground, and is located a short distance from the beautiful Nije Hemelriek, where you can enjoy nature.

Gasselte, Drenthe
Gasselte is a cosy village in the province of Drenthe. It is located on the Hondsrug, halfway between the villages of Gieten and Borger. It is a fine destination for those who love hiking and cycling in rural surroundings. Nature lovers should definitely walk the Boomkroonpad. This125-metre-long path is located high among the trees. Interested in prehistory? Then visit the Hunebedcentrum in Borger. In this archaeological museum you will learn all about prehistory. It is also just a stone's throw away from the largest hunebed in the Netherlands. For children, amusement park Drouwenerzand also guarantees a fun day out.
