A private parking space is available directly adjacent to the house. There is also an outdoor storage room with a charging point for your electric bicycle, and the house has underfloor heating.
The area around Gasselte is perfect for walking, cycling, and enjoying nature. Visit the Nije Hemelriek lake with its crystal-clear waters, explore the vast forests of the Hondsrug in Drenthe, or plan a day trip to Assen or Groningen.

Location and surroundings
Gasselte is a cosy village in the province of Drenthe. It is located on the Hondsrug, halfway between the villages of Gieten and Borger. It is a fine destination for those who love hiking and cycling in rural surroundings. Nature lovers should definitely walk the Boomkroonpad. This125-metre-long path is located high among the trees. Interested in prehistory? Then visit the Hunebedcentrum in Borger. In this archaeological museum you will learn all about prehistory. It is also just a stone's throw away from the largest hunebed in the Netherlands. For children, amusement park Drouwenerzand also guarantees a fun day out.
