Luxury 14-person villa with Finnish sauna on Lake Tjeukemeer in Friesland

This luxury waterfront villa for 14 people is situated directly on Lake Tjeukemeer in Delfstrahuizen, Friesland. Enjoy the tranquility, the water, and the many water sports opportunities, or discover the charming towns of Lemmer, Joure, and Heerenveen. From the villa, you can step straight onto the water and explore the beautiful lake district by boat.

The inviting living room features a seating area with a Smart TV, gas fireplace, workspace, and Sonos sound system. Sliding doors provide access to the spacious deck terrace by the water. The eat-in kitchen seats 14 people and is fully equipped with a 10-burner induction hob, two ovens, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker, among other amenities. In the storage room, you will find a washing machine, dryer, and additional refrigeration and freezer space.

The villa features seven bedrooms, each with two single beds. Several bedrooms have a private shower and sink. There are two separate bathrooms with a shower, toilet, and double sink, and a Finnish sauna is located on the first floor.

Outside, you can enjoy a sunny terrace with garden furniture, parasols, sun loungers, and a lounge set. Additionally, the villa features a private pétanque court, a jetty for fishing or swimming, and parking for four cars with a charging station for electric vehicles.

  • Sportverenigingen, studentenverenigingen, jongerengroepen (tot 25 jaar), basisschoolgroepen en vriendengroepen (tot 30 jaar) zijn niet toegestaan.
  • The main booker must be at least 30 years of age or older.
  • Children under 12 years old do not pay tourist tax. Please indicate in the comments field during booking and indicate how many children are traveling and their ages. This will be manually adjusted for you on the invoice.
  • The accommodations are ideal for families, but are not rented to young people, groups, or sports clubs. If, upon arrival, it appears that the group composition differs from what was booked, access may be denied.
  • One set of kitchen towels is included. You can optionally book additional kitchen towels.
  • In the period from December 21 to January 4, 2027, the house can only be booked for a week from Monday to Monday.

Delfstrahuizen, Friesland
Delfstrahuizen is a village on the Tjeukemeer, a stone's throw from the cosy villages of Lemmer, Joure and Heerenveen. The Tjeukemeer offers many water sports possibilities, but a day of relaxing at the cosy sandy beach is definitely one of them. Of course, renting a boat and admiring the beautiful nature reserve from the water is also an option. And speaking of water: a day in beautiful Giethoorn is also highly recommended! The kids can also have a great time at the Ballorig play paradise in Heerenveen or AquaZoo in Leeuwarden. And for some extra culture, the Fries Museum in Leeuwarden and the Fries Scheepvaart Museum in Sneek should also be on your list.

It was fantastic, a bit of a shame that you book for 14 people and the dining table is for 12 people, so sitting at a table with the whole family was not possible.
