Bruinisse is also known as the Mussel Town and for good reason! Local mussel farmers account for a third of the supply of mussels in the Netherlands. If you want to know a little more about this, you could visit Brusea where the life and work of a mussel fisherman is on display. Nearby, you will find Zierikzee, the capital of Schouwen-Duiveland, with its many authentic features. Nearby you will also find the interesting Deltapark Neeltje Jans and Ouwerk, where the Watersnoodmuseum is located. Prefer a day at the beach? Then you will be in Renesse in no time, where long beaches, cosy terraces and a vibrant nightlife are well represented.

The booking hadn't been received by reception. They were helpful, but it wasn't a great start. We were also given a different cottage than expected. The cleaning could have been better; there was still an old sock under the bed. The area around the cottage wasn't fully enclosed, which was inconvenient with dogs.
De boeking was niet doorgekomen naar de receptie. Mensen hebben ons goed geholpen maar was geen fijne start. Hebben ook een ander huisje gekregen dan voorzien was. Poets kon beter, lag nog een oude sok onder het bed. Domein rond huisje niet volledig afgesloten wat onhandig was met de hondjes.

Beautiful house, but very outdated bathrooms and kitchen. The stair gate is extremely dangerous and really needs to be looked at.
Mooie woning, wel erg verouderde badkamers en keuken. Traphekje is levensgevaarlijk hier moet echt naar gekeken worden.
