Beautiful 6 person chalet with private deck on the Markermeer on a vacation park
The six-person chalet is wonderfully situated on the waterfront with a deck on the water's edge. The chalet is fully equipped and has three bedrooms. On the vacation park are several playgrounds where your children can enjoy themselves for hours. The special historic surroundings of the Markermeer with old port cities like Enkhuizen and Hoorn make this a wonderful and unique vacation destination.
This beautiful chalet can accommodate six people. The living room has a cozy sitting area with television and adjacent dining area. The open kitchen is fully equipped and has a dishwasher and filter coffee maker. There are three bedrooms, one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds. The third bedroom has two single beds or bunk beds. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet and shower. In the garden there is a cozy terrace with garden furniture, parasol and a private deck on the Markermeer. Finally, right by the vacation home is one private parking space for one car.

The North Holland village of Bovenkarspel is near Amsterdam: a lively city with many attractions and opportunities for activities for all ages. For example, visit the Anne Frank House or Madame Tussauds. The towns of Enkhuizen, Lelystad and Volendam are also close by, making nice trips easy. But there is also plenty to do in Bovenkarspel itself, visit for example Orion observatory or Klimpark Streekbos. You can also enjoy boating in the area, for example on the IJsselmeer or the Markemeer. There is also the Streekbos, which offers many recreational possibilities: swimming in the swimming lake, lazing on the beach, cycling or hiking.

Great cottage, fully equipped. Mosquito nets on the main doors and windows, very nice. A fair amount of privacy. A nice jetty with easy access to the water. The bed is comfortable. Be careful with the extractor hood; I bumped my head on a corner. Dogs can't go directly into the water. We stayed in cottage 66.
Prima huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien. Horren voor de belangrijkste deuren en ramen, erg prettig. Redelijk wat privacy. Mooie aanlegsteiger, van waaruit je prima het water in kunt. Bed is goed. Wel oppassen met de afzuigkap, mijn hoofd gestoten aan een punt. Honden kunnen niet direct in het water. We zaten in huisje 66.

The park doesn't have many amenities, but we knew that beforehand, so it wasn't a problem. There are two restaurants within walking distance, and they did offer a bread roll service. It's a shame our cottage had the toilet in the bathroom. With six people, that can be a bit of a hassle at times.
Het park heeft niet veel faciliteiten, maar dat wisten we van tevoren en dat was geen probleem. Er zitten twee restaurants op loopafstand en er was wel broodjesservice. Jammer dat ons huisje het toilet in de badkamer had. Met 6 personen is dat wel lastig op sommige momenten.

We reported to reception that the outside door was completely ajar. There was quite a draft coming through. They said they would pass it on.
We hadden bij de receptie gemeld. Dat de buitendeur een hele kier boven had. Kwam best tocht doorheen.. ze zou het doorgeven
