Are you ready for a few days of rest, space and relaxation in a luxurious accommodation? Then we warmly invite you to holiday park Markermeer in a villa or chalet. The holiday park is located in Bovenkarpsel, a unique village in North Holland with many recreational possibilities. Besides the many water sports that can be practiced on the Markermeer, West-Friesland also offers many beautiful walking and cycling routes through the wooded landscape. Young guests will have a great time in one of the playgrounds of the park.

Swimming and water sports
During the hot summer months, Vakantiepark Markermeer offers a lovely refreshing dip. Some homes on the holiday park have a jetty directly on the Markermeer. The park also has a boat ramp. As a guest, you can bring a small sailing boat, a whisper boat, a speedboat or a water scooter. Just keep in mind that the water is low.
Sports and games
Younger guests can enjoy themselves in one of the playgrounds on the holiday park.

Location and surroundings
The North Holland village of Bovenkarspel is near Amsterdam: a lively city with many attractions and opportunities for activities for all ages. For example, visit the Anne Frank House or Madame Tussauds. The towns of Enkhuizen, Lelystad and Volendam are also close by, making nice trips easy. But there is also plenty to do in Bovenkarspel itself, visit for example Orion observatory or Klimpark Streekbos. You can also enjoy boating in the area, for example on the IJsselmeer or the Markemeer. There is also the Streekbos, which offers many recreational possibilities: swimming in the swimming lake, lazing on the beach, cycling or hiking.
