Beautiful holiday home for 3 people in beautiful Bergen.

On the edge of the village of Bergen is a former idyllic pottery house. The cottage is suitable for four people and is tastefully decorated. The house is not far from the dunes, the forest and the North Sea beach (5 km). Ideal for walkers and cyclists. The village is very cozy with many shops, restaurants and terraces. Bergen has a history that dates back to the 16th century.

Layout

The living room has a seating area and a dining table for four. The kitchen has everything you need including a filter coffee machine, fridge and microwave. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms one with a double bed (one mattress, 150x200) and one with a single bed. Both bedrooms have mosquito net systems. The fully enclosed courtyard is at your disposal to enjoy the sun. This courtyard has an old well. The car can be parked on the driveway next to the holiday home.

Location and surroundings

Bergen, North-Holland

The peace, space and wide avenues with lots of greenery and nature make the artist village of Bergen a traditionally popular place for artists and holidaymakers. Many artists live in Bergen and you can admire their work in the galleries or in the artists' centre. The pretty village is more than 1,000 years old and built around the Ruïnekerk church, dating from the 15th century. The centre of Bergen has many terraces, cafés, restaurants and boutiques. From here, you can also walk or cycle through the beautiful dunes to the extensive beach. The nearby town of Alkmaar has its famous cheese market every Friday and Bergen also hosts craft and art markets in the summer.

Ik heb heerlijke dagen gehad in dit ‘heerlijk huisje’. Heel gezellig ingericht en alles was aanwezig. Bij aankomst werd ik warm welkom geheten door Jean. Overdag lekker gewandeld en gefietst naar de zee en door het prachtige duingebied. Weer thuis nog even van de zon genieten op het terras met af en toe een gezellig babbeltje met Jean en Ineke.

Lief… dat is het eerste wat ons te binnen schoot toen we het huisje binnen liepen.. Wat maakt dit huisje nou zo bijzonder?
Natuurlijk Bergen, wat een geweldige plaats is dat! Maar zeker ook het uitzicht op de prachtige tuin van de gastvrouwen Jean en Ineke en de geweldige patio! Een absolute aanrader voor jong en oud!

Wir waren überwältigt von der liebevollen Begrüßung der Gastgeber! Das Haus ist bezaubernd und hat alles, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Wir hatten tolle Gespräche, wunderbares Wetter und eine gute Zeit. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gern wieder!
