Modern 6-person chalet on the cosy holiday park Poort van Maastricht!
Opening the curtains, walking outside and listening to the birds wishing you good morning: sounds like a wonderful start to your holiday day. This accommodation is located in Limburg, between the beautiful hills. The Poort van Maastricht holiday park is located near Valkenburg and you'll never guess: Maastricht, indeed! A day away from the park is easy to do. Something that should not be missed during your holiday is a visit to the Valkenburg caves. Get on your bike and discover the surroundings. Would you rather stay in the park? No problem, there are plenty of fun things to do there too! Take a dip in the swimming pool or take your (grand)children to one of the playgrounds. Will you come and visit us soon for an unforgettable time?
This house is 43m2 and suitable for six people. There is a living room with a sitting area, television, dining area and kitchen. In the kitchen you can use the water boiler, fridge-freezer, microwave and induction cooker.
There are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed. In the bathroom you can take a shower and use the toilet.
Outside there is a terrace with garden furniture and parking for one car. There is also access to the WiFi network in this chalet.

Berg en Terblijt, Limburg
Berg en Terblijt is a former municipality in the southernmost tip of Limburg. It is located between picturesque Valkenburg and greater Maastricht. The municipality is home to extraordinary churches and castles, as well as beautiful nature. Nearby Valkenburg is home to the distinctive marl caves. Valkenburg is a cosy trench town with a compact centre, featuring a castle ruin. A visit to one of the many restaurants is already a pleasant experience. Valkenburg's pleasant atmosphere can also be found in Limburg's capital. Maastricht has a lot of shopping and eating opportunities. De Maas river runs straight through Maastricht and is definitely worth a walk.

As always, a great little house. This time in Limburg. Lovely large covered terrace.
Zoals altijd een prima huisje. Dit keer in Limburg. Lekker groot terras met overkapping.

We received a very warm welcome at the park. The chalet is clean and (we thought) spacious enough for a family with two children. The veranda was ideal because of the weather (rain), allowing us to sit outside. There aren't many amenities at the park. The restaurant was being renovated, but we knew that beforehand. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area.
We zijn erg gastvrij ontvangen op het park. Chalet is netjes en (vinden wij) ruim genoeg voor een gezin met 2 kinderen. De veranda was wel ideaal vanwege het weer (regen). Zo konden we toch nog buiten zitten. Op het park niet heel veel voorzieningen. Restaurant werd verbouwd maar dat wisten we van tevoren. Genoeg horeca in de omgeving.

What I really found annoying was the entertainment and playground right behind our cottage. It was very noisy in the mornings, and there were also screaming children during Remembrance Day. The cottage was close to a busy road with lots of trucks, and you could hear them inside as well. We had a different type of cottage.
Wat ik echt vervelend vond was de animatie en speeltuin vlak achter ons huisje. Waar veel herrie vandaan kwam in de ochtend en ook schreeuwende kinderen tijdens de dodenherdenking. Het huisje stond dicht bij een drukke weg met veel vrachtwagens en hoorde je ook binnen. We hadden een ander type huisje.
