Modern 6 person MIVA holiday home on the Veluwe near Beekbergen
This accommodation is fully equipped for wheelchair users and has a cozy fireplace. The accommodation is situated on the holiday park Beekbergen and is located in the Veluwe. On the holiday park you will find facilities for all ages, such as an indoor swimming pool, wellness facilities, a restaurant, fitness, bicycle and e-chopper rental, mini market and playgrounds for children. From the park you can walk to the highest waterfalls of the Netherlands, 15 meters high, the Loenense Watervallen. This is the perfect base for nature lovers to explore the Veluwe on foot or by bike. If you prefer to experience the hustle and bustle of a city, Arnhem and Apeldoorn are just a stone's throw away.
The accommodation is entirely on the ground floor. There is a living room with a sitting and dining area and a TV. The modern kitchen is wheelchair-proof and equipped with a cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, kettle and coffee machine. There are a total of three twin bedrooms. The bathroom has a 90 cm wide shower, there is also a 50 cm wide toilet. Some homes have a bathtub in the bathroom. In addition to the toilet in the bathroom, there is another separate toilet. A sliding door in the living room opens onto the terrace with garden furniture. There is paved parking and a widened access path to the accommodation.

Beekbergen, Gelderland
From Beekbergen, Apeldoorn is within cycling distance and from here you can see many sights. For example, visit Paleis Het Loo and make it a royal day out as you admire the magnificent interiors from the seventeenth to the twentieth century. Prefer an active day? Then cycle through the beautiful Hoge Veluwe National Park on the free white bikes or visit the Kröller-Müller Museum for a day of nature and culture in one. A day at Children's Amusement Park Julianatoren or Klimbos Veluwe is an absolute must with the kids and in Apeldoorn or Deventer you can enjoy shopping or eating. Of course, you can also find good restaurants in Beekbergen itself.

Very beautiful cottage, everything easily accessible by wheelchair. The cottage was not (yet) entirely optimal for wheelchair users. 1) The threshold at the front door was too high. 2) Missing grab bars in the shower. 3) Missing a wheelchair-accessible washbasin with a tilting mirror.
Erg fraai huisje alles goed bereikbaar met de rolstoel.
Het huisje was (nog) niet helemaal optimaal voor rolstoel gebruikers.
1) Drempel bij de voordeur was te hoog.
2) Ontbreken van beugels bij de douche.
3) Ontbreken van een onderrijdbare wastafel met een kantelbare spiegel.

+ The cottage was great, nice large bathroom with amenities for our elderly mother. Good beds. - Unclear waste separation, plastic in residual waste? And the coffee maker could be more modern. The park is quite large; the photos don't show the full size of the park with its many cottages, and it doesn't mention that it's a Europarcs.
+ Huisje was prima, fijne grote badkamer met voorzieningen voor onze oude moeder. Goeie bedden.
- Onduidelijke afvalscheiding, plastic bij restafval?
En koffiezetapparaat zou moderner kunnen.
Park wel heel groot, foto’s laten niet de totale omvang van het park zien met de vele huisjes en er wordt niet vermeld dat het om Europarcs gaat.
