Discover the rugged beauty of the Noordduinen, the Helderse Duinen, and the Mariëndal, where you'll be surrounded by colorful flowers, unique plants, and wildlife.
Spot grazing Scottish Highlanders, watch a fox dart through the grass, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet around you. Excursions in the surrounding area are also easily accessible: visit the charming city of Den Helder with its shops, museums, and terraces, or hop on a boat to Texel for a day of island life. Location and surroundings
If you are looking for peace, space, wide beaches, dunes and beautiful nature, Julianadorp aan Zee is the place to be. The beaches are safe and clean, and you can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, water sports or a game of tennis or golf. The surroundings offer many opportunities for lovely walking and cycling trips through the impressive dunes, bulb fields and villages along the beautiful North Sea coast. Via the dunes, you can go on to the cosy tourist places Callantsoog, Groet and Schoorl. Alkmaar, with its famous cheese market, is also well worth a visit. From the nearby port of Den Helder, the ferry leaves for the island of Texel for a lovely day out.
