Location and surroundings
Many cozy places and recreational opportunities are located near Andijk. Framed by water and fifteenth-century defenses, VOC town Enkhuizen houses many unique surprises. There is the historic town center, there are the beautiful harbors, museums, restaurants and cozy shopping streets. There are also many events and for the children there is Sprookjeswonderland. Visit the cozy Hoorn with its harbors, stores, museums and cozy terraces. Medemblik is home to Kasteel Radboud, which dates back to 1288. It is one of the few remaining castles in the province. The IJsselmeer is also a wonderful place for swimming, walking, cycling, rollerblading or boating.
