What better way to explore the nature-rich surroundings than by bicycle? You can rent (electric) bicycles at the reception. Bungalow Park 't Geestmerambacht is the ideal base for starting various cycling tours. The reception staff will be happy to tell you more about the cycling routes Schoorlse Duin (30km), Dijk en Duin (110km), and Westfriese Omring (126km). You can also rent a boat at the reception. Step directly onto the North Holland Canal and sail towards Alkmaar or through the peaceful polder landscape. A wonderful way to discover the area from the water.

Sports and games

Do you like to show your active side? Then you will have a great time at the children's playground, on the tennis court, or at mini-golf. Would you rather enjoy peace and nature? Then cast your line in the Noordhollandsch Kanaal, which divides the village of Schoorldam in two. You can fish well there and enjoy the distant view of the Schoorl dunes. During the summer months, children can participate in a varied recreational program both in the morning and in the evening. Think of playing games, arts and crafts, a disco, a movie night, bingo, and face painting. You can also participate in weekly activities such as bingo, fishing competitions, or the pool tournament.

Bungalow Park 't Geestmerambacht has a cozy meeting place called 't Praathuis. Here you can enjoy a cup of coffee with cake, a drink, or an ice cream. Don't feel like cooking yourself? Then come and have a nice meal with your travel companions in the restaurant. In addition to the bar and a restaurant, 't Praathuis has a terrace overlooking the children's playground.

Near Schoorldam are the highest dunes in the Netherlands. In the heart of Schoorl is the famous climbing dune, with many cosy terraces nearby, providing the necessary rest after the climb. In the vast wooded dune area behind the climbing dune, a walk is highly recommended, but you can also traverse the dunes by bike. Go for a day out to Bergen and visit the art markets, but also visit the cosy harbour of Hoorn, the cheese market in Alkmaar (on Fridays) or go to the beautiful Zaan region. Of course, you can also spend a day at the beach for swimming, sunbathing, sailing or surfing and then stroll along the cosy boulevards in the evening.
