Putten is located on the edge of the Veluwe, an area that offers many wonderful walking and cycling routes through the beautiful woods and heathland. Putten has a cosy centre, but a day of shopping and a bite to eat in one of the cafés or restaurants can also be enjoyed in nearby Amersfoort or Apeldoorn. In summer, you can enjoy the Veluwe Lake or the many other lakes and ponds nearby where you can enjoy swimming or various water sports. Want a day out with more excitement?
