Location and surroundings

The atmospheric village of Borkel-en-Schaft is located near the Belgian border and is surrounded by two beautiful nature reserves. Excellent signposted cycling routes have been constructed along the most special spots. Various varied walking, inline skating, riding and scooter routes have also been laid out in the surrounding area. After an impressive trip, the region offers pleasant terraces in several nearby picturesque villages. Enjoy a home-brewed Trappist beer at the Achelse Kluis monastery and then dine in one of the various restaurants and experience the Brabant conviviality. For a day out, you can shop in Eindhoven, visit the Efteling or discover the Belgian town of Postel.
