Hoenderloo is a wonderful base and you can do excellent shopping in nearby Apeldoorn, in the large indoor shopping centre De Oranjerie, Arnhem or Ede. Nearby attractions include De Apenheul, Het Loo Palace or children's amusement park Julianatoren. Arnhem is home to the Dutch Open Air Museum and how about a visit to the Hanseatic cities of Zutphen or Deventer?
