The area has many nature reserves with forests, vast heathlands and many streams. The typical coulisse landscape that characterises this region offers endless beautiful cycling and walking trips. Lochem has several cosy restaurants, terraces and shops. For a day out, go to Adventure Park Hellendoorn, Family Fun Park Megapret, take a walk through Lochem and see Castle De Cloese or visit one of the many other castles in the area.
