The holiday houses at holiday park Cape Helius in Hellevoetsluis, South-Holland deserve to be called villas! They are fully, comfortably furnished and offer plenty of luxury! Fortified city Hellevoetsluis used to be the naval base of the Netherlands, where the famous Piet Heijn for example captured the treasure-fleet. Many monuments in and around the historical centre of Hellevoetsluis remind of those days, such as the Tromphuys, a sea lock and dry dock. Nowadays, this city still has a maritime appearance with six marinas. Holiday park Cape Helius has a private marina and a beach (1 km) with playground equipment for children. Along the Haringvliet dam you will find more lovely beaches with all kinds of water sports activities.
The holiday park is situated on a wonderful location, near the historic centre, by the water, amidst beautiful nature. You can make wonderful walking- and cycling tours and discover dunes, beach, the Haringvliet, Fort Noorddijk, the Grasweg area, the Ravense Bos and the Kooisteebos, scenic areas which are definitely worth a visit. - As a guest of Cape Helius you have free access to the subtropical swimming paradise at Roompot Beach Resort in Kamperland (60km away).
- The layout / interior may differ and differ from the pictures shown.
- These vacation homes cannot be rented for business purposes and the main booker must be at least 21 years old.
- The park reserves the right to charge a deposit between EUR 50 and EUR 500 per person on site. This deposit depends on the group composition. Please take this into account when making the reservation.

You imagine yourself in a true paradise at Holiday Park Cape Helius. Although the park has few facilities, you will not be bored for a moment. With the beach only 1 km away and the large marina, your beach vacation can start immediately! At the park you can rent bicycles and for a tasty bite you can go to the à la carte restaurant. Children enjoy themselves in the playground and for getting your daily needs you can visit the mini market.
As a guest of Cape Helius you have free access to the subtropical swimming paradise at Roompot Beach Resort in Kamperland (60km away). If you want to use the fishing possibilities you must be in possession of a fishing license, with the exception of open water, sea fishing and waters which are connected to the open sea. These can be purchased at the reception.

Location and surroundings
Hellevoetsluis has a rich history. Once the main naval port of the Netherlands, visit the Ramtorenschip de Buffel for an insight into the life of marines in those days. Beautiful nearby Brielle also has a rich history and is definitely worth a visit. Looking for beach fun? Then visit Rockanje beach, which is just a stone's throw away. Here you will find several beach clubs and you can take a lovely walk along the beach. For a day out, visit Rotterdam where you can shop, visit museums or eat out. Of course, you can also enjoy cycling in the area, discover the coast of Voorne-Putten or cycle along many picturesque villages in Zeeland.
