Holiday park Buitenhuizen is located in the nature of recreation area Spaarnwoude and a stone's throw away from Haarlem and Amsterdam.
Holiday park Buitenhuizen with its extensive facilities ensures a wonderful holiday. The park offers free WIFI, an outdoor swimming pool, a snack bar, various playgrounds, animation during the high season, wellness/fitness facilities and bicycle rental. In short, you can have a good time here. Just outside the holiday park is the largest golf course in Europe, Golf Course Spaarnwoude. Furthermore, the location of the park is a perfect base for trips in the area. Think of Artis, the Zaanse Schans, SnowPlanet, or a day trip to Haarlem or Amsterdam. Within a 20 minute drive you are on the beach and with half an hour drive you are in Amsterdam or Schiphol. Also Haarlem and the National Park South-Kennemerland are easy to reach.

The outdoor pool is heated and there is a beautiful sunbathing area.

At the park, you can relax in the private sauna. The sauna has an infrared cabin, a Finnish sauna and a plunge pool. There is also a fitness room that is open daily.

From the end of March, the snack bar will reopen several days a week. You can come here to take away snacks and fries.

Animation
In the summer months, the entertainment team is busy organising all kinds of fun activities. The children can do crafts or play super fun games.

At the park, children can play to their hearts' content. There are various playgrounds and an air trampoline. There is also a football field and a table tennis table.
Launderette
It is not the first thing you might think of, but it is very convenient. There is a launderette with a number of washing machines and dryers at the park. You can go here 24 hours a day and you can pay with your debit card.

Location and surroundings
Close to the largest fishing port in the Netherlands is Velsen-Zuid: a North-Holland village near the coast and in between Castricum and Haarlem (both pleasant and historical recommendations). There is also plenty to do in the area: take a picture in traditional costume in Volendam, visit the Zaanse Schans or go to the famous cheese market in Alkmaar on Friday. Of course, you can also spend a day in Amsterdam, where shopping, strolling along the canals or visiting the Rijksmuseum and the Anne Frank House are a great day out. And for nature lovers, National Park Zuid-Kennemerland is an absolute must: here you can enjoy all the beautiful dunes, forests and beaches to your heart's content.
