Water fun

If you're staying at Brunssummerheide Holiday Park during the hot summer months, you can take a wonderfully refreshing dip in the De Zeekoelen Nature and Beach Pool. This natural swimming pond is nestled among the beautiful hills. It features sandy beaches, lawns perfect for sunbathing, and various play equipment. As a guest of Brunssummerheide Holiday Park, you can use the indoor swimming pool at Limburg Holiday Park free of charge. This park is a 30-minute drive from Brunssummerheide Holiday Park. Fancy casting a line? You can also do so on the other side of the swimming pond, at the fishing pier.

"De Uitvlucht" is a brasserie/restaurant with a lounge area, children's area, meeting room, and a lovely terrace with unobstructed views of the natural pool and the surrounding natural beauty of Brunssummerheide holiday park. Enjoy everything from a delicious cup of coffee and Limburg pie to a full dinner. In good weather, you can dine al fresco on the terrace, and when it's chilly outside, dine around the fireplace!

Children's farm

Is your child (or you) crazy about animals? This park has a petting zoo. At the entrance to Brunssummerheide holiday park, you'll immediately pass the animal pasture where you'll see several goats and sheep. There are also several other animals in the pasture, and there's a log cabin where the animals live, but most of the animals are outdoors so they can be seen.

Sports and games

For the sporty types, there's a playground with plenty of play and sports options. Children can jump on the large bouncy castle and climb on the playground equipment. In short, your child(ren) can have hours of fun here!

In the heart of South Limburg, close to the German border is the small town of Brunssum, right next to the Brunssummerheide nature reserve. The beautiful German region of the Eifel is also within easy reach from here. A beautiful hilly area interrupted by the river Moselle. In Brunssum, you can enjoy eating out or doing your shopping. For a day of shopping, visit nearby Maastricht or Aachen. There are also many great attractions in the area: the Giardino sculpture garden, the Geulhemmer quarry and the Bonnefantenmuseum are certainly worth a visit. The beautiful town of Valkenburg is also not to be missed, known for its many caves and castles.
