The beautiful German region of the Eifel is also within easy reach from here. A beautiful hilly area interrupted by the river Moselle. In Brunssum, you can enjoy eating out or doing your shopping. For a day of shopping, visit nearby Maastricht or Aachen. There are also many great attractions in the area: the Giardino sculpture garden, the Geulhemmer quarry and the Bonnefantenmuseum are certainly worth a visit. The beautiful town of Valkenburg is also not to be missed, known for its many caves and castles.
