This beautiful vacation park is located a stone's throw from Fortress Town Steenwijk, in the middle of the wooded surroundings of De Woldberg and De Eese. This gives you the perfect opportunity to go on beautiful forest walks and/or bicycle tours. Besides the beautiful nature in the area you also have the opportunity to make nice trips such as a the Water Village Giethoorn, National Park The Weerribben - Wieden. The estate has its own picking and experience garden with fruit trees and herbs. In addition, explore the various activities that the nearby recreation park Residence de Eese has to offer, such as the restaurant, playground, heated outdoor pool and a fun animal pasture. 't Landgoed Baars does not have a swimming pool or playgrounds, so you can really enjoy your peace and quiet here. Wake up to the sound of birds singing in the middle of the forest. Escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy this wonderful relaxing vacation.

Do you have any questions? Then please contact the reception of the nearby vacation park Recidence de Eese. Rent a bike from the bike rental and explore the area at your own pace. In addition to regular bikes, you also have the option of renting a mountain bike. Residence de Eese has a launderette which you can use for a fee. In the restaurant and on the terrace you can make free use of the WiFi network.
Children
Your children will never be bored at Residence de Eese. Residence de Eese has a wide range of children's facilities. For example, they can enjoy themselves in the amusement hall with slot machines, the playground, the animal pasture/petting zoo, the games library or the (air) trampoline/jumping cushion. In addition, during the vacations the children can have fun at the supervised children's club and participate in a fun recreational program. They can also have fun at the children's disco.
Swimming/sports
For a lovely refreshing dip you can visit the outdoor swimming pool at the park Residence de Eese. There is a children's pool for the little ones. Next to the pool is a playground located with air trampoline. Besides swimming, you can play various sports on the sports fields. You also have the opportunity to play a game of table tennis, soccer in the soccer cage or billiards. Are you really fanatical? Then play in one of the basketball and volleyball games or sign up for a hexathlon (for a fee).

At the Grand Café de Eese you can enjoy a delicious dinner. You can also enjoy a snack and drink on the cozy terrace. Don't feel like cooking one evening? Then get a delicious snack in the snack bar.

Baars is centrally located between various nature reserves, the Eese, Weerribben-Wieden, Drents-Friese Wold, Dwingelderveld and Holtingerveld. In these beautiful nature reserves you have the opportunity to take a lovely walk and bike ride. The many picturesque towns in the area such as Giethoorn, Sint-Jansklooster, Blokzijl and Dwarsgracht are also definitely worth a visit. Rent a whisper boat in Giethoorn and discover the beautiful surroundings from the water. For a fun outing, visit Klimbos Avontuurlijk Paasloo, De Orchideeën Hoeve or the dolmens in Havelte. For a cozy terrace or a good restaurant you can go to nearby Steenwijk.
