Particularities
- If you have booked a cottage with hot tub, the hot tub takes about 1.5 hours to heat up. The hot tubs are electric.
- A deposit is required on site, the amount of which depends on the property type and ranges from EUR 150 to EUR 350. This amount can be paid in cash or by pin.
- The interior / exterior of these holiday homes may differ.
- Unfortunately, it is not allowed to book this holiday home with a cat.
- Résidence Valkenburg is a holiday park under development, which is why construction work is taking place. The park is doing its best to limit the inconvenience as much as possible.
Facilities
General
Imagine yourself in a totally new world when you enter Residence Valkenburg. Report to the reception where you will receive all information from one of the staff members. Receive the key and the WiFi code and settle into your accommodation for the coming holiday. The park has a 24-hour shop with basic groceries.
Catering
Take a seat in the cosy and child-friendly restaurant with stunning views over the Geul valley. Taste the most delicious regional dishes, have a good cup of coffee or one of the many special beers. Sit in the sun on the terrace, order a quick snack in the snack bar, chat the evenings away in the bar or dine in a casual atmosphere. Opposite the park is a sandwich shop for fresh rolls for breakfast.
Sports and games
Run, fly, jump, dive, fall, get up and keep going again! Your children will have no time to sit still during the holidays. This is not surprising, as their friends were made on day one and there is always something new to experience or do on the holiday park.
Swimming
Summers can be hot! Residence Valkenburg has found a pleasant solution for that. Take a dip in the swimming pool and enjoy the sunshine next to the pool on a lounger. The swimming pool is open from May to September.

Location and surroundings
The landscape around Schin op Geul consists of rolling hills, vast forests and babbling brooks with wide views over the Geul valley. In the Geul valley, you will find many castles, farms, historical monuments, churches and mills which you can visit during your holiday. Take endless walks or cycle to the cities of Maastricht, Aachen or Liège. Taste the atmosphere of Limburg during your holiday, while enjoying a cup of coffee and a delicious flan. Of course, you can also go to a café in the village for a cup of coffee. Finally, the beautiful neighbouring town of Valkenburg is also well worth a visit, especially around Christmas, where there is a magical atmosphere.
