A nice vacation feeling takes hold of you as soon as you drive over the dike towards Recreatiepark & Jachthaven 'Rhederlaagse Meren'. Getting a breath of fresh air, cycling, walking, water sports by boat or surfboard or just relaxing in your beach chair on our private beach, in short taking the time to experience freedom. The park is located on one of the most special water sports areas of our country near the Gelderse IJssel. Across the IJssel is the Veluwezoom, also a beautiful nature reserve. Location and surroundings

The area around Lathum is characterised by the large lake on the IJssel surrounded by a strongly sloping landscape with rich flora and fauna. The recreation area the Rhederlaag is the starting point of many walking and cycling routes and there are also several possibilities to cross the IJssel or the lake by bicycle ferry. Besides the beautiful surroundings, Lathum itself is also the ideal base for a day out. Arnhem is at cycling distance and in no time you can be in the Veluwe, the Achterhoek or at the river Rhine or IJssel. The towns of Doetinchem, Arnhem, Doesburg or Bronkhorst (the smallest town in the Netherlands) are also well worth a visit!
