Small-scale recreation park in wooded surroundings with marina on De Friese Meren in Friesland

Recreatiepark Idskenhuizen is a small but unique recreation park. It is located on The Frisian Lakes and therefore has a marina. This gives you the opportunity to discover the Frisian Lakes region. Idskenhuizen is a wooded area and thus certainly suitable for nature lovers. Water sports enthusiasts can also have a great time here. Idksenhuizen is also the perfect base for visiting the surrounding area. There are eleven types of water villas. You have the option of booking Wellness Villas, equipped with outdoor spa and sauna, or choose a child-friendly cottage. These are completely fenced for safe outdoor play. A number of pet-friendly houses are available.

Do you have questions about the park or its surroundings, or do you just want to get an ice cream? You can do so at the holiday park's reception. The holiday park is located at the small-scale marina of Idskenhuizen. There is room for passers-by and the marina has permanent moorings. Water sports articles are sold here. There is also a refuelling facility and laundrette. The Grand Café is nearby, and you can relax on a beach within walking distance.

Water sports and nature
The holiday park is located in the middle of the Frisian Lakes. Perfect for taking to the water from here! Hire a sloop, sailboat or explore the area on SUP. Not yet experienced? No problem. Then take part in sailing and surfing courses. If you prefer to explore the area by bike or scooter, you can hire these. The wooded area offers something for everyone. There is also a golf course and swimming beach nearby.
