Recreation park De Boshoek is centrally located on the Veluwe near the town of Voorthuizen. The holiday park has a beautiful indoor swimming pool, a bowling alley, a panna cage and much more..... There is really plenty to do, also for a nice evening in the restaurant or just lovely 'terraces' you can just visit the park to stay. Do you want to go out into nature? no problem! Recreatie de Boshoek has a central reception area where you can get all the information you need about the surrounding area. There is also a Minimarket at the park for the necessary groceries.

Sports and Games

The holiday park has a miniature golf course (for a fee), table tennis tables, a tennis and badminton court, a panna cage and bowling alleys (for a fee). There are also various other organised games such as buggy rides, GPS tours, farmer games and old-fashioned games. During the school holidays, many activities are organised by the animation team. The programme is very diverse and for young and old. There are various smaller and larger playgrounds spread throughout the park, including an interactive indoor play area.

A beautiful outdoor swimming pool is available in the summer months.

The holiday park has two restaurants, one of which is western-style. For the most important groceries, there's a supermarket on the park. Ideal to get your 'forgotten' stuff.

Location and surroundings

Voorthuizen is a beautiful place in the midst of beautiful nature and also a fine place to stay for exploring the area. For example, Zeumeren is a beautiful lake where you can swim and where many water sports are also practiced. Think of surfing, pedal boats, water skiing and canoeing, but in winter you can also enjoy hiking and cycling in the area. Real fishing enthusiasts will enjoy the nearby Aanschotergat fishing lake. From Voorthuizen you can be in the National Park De Hoge Veluwe in the blink of an eye, where you can go cycling. Apeldoorn, where you can visit the Julianatoren amusement park or Het Loo Palace, is also close by, and in Voorthuizen itself there are many pleasant terraces and restaurants.
