Floating sauna

During your stay, you can use a private sauna by the lake. This sauna can be manually heated to your desired temperature. From the sauna, you have a direct view of the lake. The sauna is located on a raft moored at the boat dock at Pean-buiten in Akkrum, near the nature houses. You can board directly from the dock. The sauna can be booked after booking for an additional fee.

The small village of Nes is located in the province of Friesland, 15 km north of Heerenveen, 20 km south of Leeuwarden and close to the village of Akkrum, where all basic shops are available. This region offers excellent opportunities for all kinds of water sports activities, such as sailing, sloop sailing, fishing and canoeing. The Sneekermeer lake, located nearby, is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts. Pean is located at the far western tip of the National Park ‘De Alde Feanen’, where sailing with a silent electric sloop in the narrow waterways is an ultimate experience.
