Do you want to spend a wonderful weekend or a holiday by the water? Then you have come to the right place at Parc de IJsselhoeve! Parc de IJsselhoeve is located in Nieuwekerk a / d IJssel where you can enjoy the peace and quiet, but also in cities such as Rotterdam and Gouda for a pleasant day out. The swimming pool, sports and playing fields ensure that the children will not be bored. You can also enjoy cycling, walking or horse riding in the immediate area through the Hitland recreation area.  The cities of Rotterdam and Gouda are close to the holiday park. There are plenty of excursions possible in the area, such as Blijdorp Zoo, Madurodam and many museums.

Particularities

  • If you booked a cottage with hot tub, it takes about 1.5 hours for the hot tub to warm up. The hot tubs are electric.
  • The design / layout / layout of the houses may differ.
  • A deposit is required on site, the amount of which depends on the property type and ranges from EUR 150 to EUR 350. This amount can be paid in cash or by pin.

Facilities

General:
At the holiday park there is a reception where you can get the most varied information and discounts, there is a laundry. The park is on the Hollandse IJssel, so there is enough challenge for anglers.
 
Swimming:
At the holiday park there is a beautiful heated outdoor swimming pool with a separate toddler area. There are wonderful sun beds by the pool.
 
Children:
At the restaurant there is a nice playground for the children, from the terrace of the restaurant you have a great view of the children playing.
 
Sport and game:
The sporty holiday maker is also taken into account. There is a nice sports and playing field with goals. There is also a riding school where you can get lessons in consultation or you can rent a horse. 
 
Food and drink:
There is a good restaurant with a wonderful terrace at the holiday park. For the small hunger or a snack you can go to the snack bar.

Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, South-Holland

In Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, you will find the peace and quiet of the countryside, while cities such as Rotterdam and Gouda are a short distance away. In these cities, besides shopping and enjoying various restaurants, terraces and cafés, you can also find various sights. Unique to the area is the recreational area Hitland. Here, you can cycle and walk alternately through forest landscapes, meadows with many bird species and moors. Right next to Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel are the old famous brick kilns, definitely worth a visit! But there are even more such historical elements in the area: peat wells, wheels, water mills and drainage ditches from the old polder landscape.
