Beautifully situated holiday park near Rotterdam

Parc de IJsselhoeve is located in Nieuwekerk a / d IJssel where you can enjoy the peace and quiet, but also in cities such as Rotterdam and Gouda for a pleasant day out. The swimming pool, sports and playing fields ensure that the children will not be bored. You can also enjoy cycling, walking or horse riding in the immediate area through the Hitland recreation area.  The cities of Rotterdam and Gouda are close to the holiday park. There are plenty of excursions possible in the area, such as Blijdorp Zoo, Madurodam and many museums.

Location and surroundings

In Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, you will find the peace and quiet of the countryside, while cities such as Rotterdam and Gouda are a short distance away. In these cities, besides shopping and enjoying various restaurants, terraces and cafés, you can also find various sights. Unique to the area is the recreational area Hitland. Here, you can cycle and walk alternately through forest landscapes, meadows with many bird species and moors. Right next to Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel are the old famous brick kilns, definitely worth a visit! But there are even more such historical elements in the area: peat wells, wheels, water mills and drainage ditches from the old polder landscape.
