North Holland's Vogelenzang is a beautiful destination. It lies between Haarlem and Noordwijk, surrounded by bulb fields and meadows. Fancy a day at the sea? The wide beach of Langevelderslag is only eight kilometres away. Nature lovers will enjoy the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes, a nature reserve consisting of forests, dunes and heathland. You can take great walks along the paths here, and maybe even spot a deer. For children, a visit to Linnaeushof is great fun. This largest playground in Europe is located in nearby Heemstede.
