It is one of the few places in the Netherlands where you can see European otters. Lelystad also has a large fashion outlet: Batavia Stad. Batavia Stad is close to Batavialand, where you can admire, among other things, the seventeenth-century VOC ship Batavia. Another great day out is Museum Aviodrome. This museum offers a glimpse into the history of aviation. From hot air balloon to supersonic aircraft, everything passes by.
