Bungalowpark Het Bosmeer is a small-scale, green park located on the border of the provinces of Friesland, Drenthe and Overijssel. Near the holiday park is one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands ‘Het Drents-Friesewold’. Here you will find 6,000 hectares of forest, heathland and shifting sands. This makes the holiday park very suitable for nature lovers and active holidaymakers. But even if you are looking for rest and relaxation, Bungalowpark Het Bosmeer is the right place for you. The holiday homes on the park are suitable for four to six persons and are divided into five different types. So there is something for everyone!

- Setting off fireworks at this holiday park is not allowed.
- The heated outdoor swimming pool is closed from September.
- Make your holiday extra special by renting our wood-fired hot tub. The hot tub can be placed near almost every bungalow, is suitable for up to 6 people and has jets and lighting. You can add the hot tub to your booking during the booking process. Rates include delivery to the bungalow and wood for 2x heating. More wood can be purchased (mandatory) via reception.
Facilities
General
The reception is the tourist point on the holiday park where you can request various information about the area, among other things. You can rent bicycles at the bicycle rental. There is a launderette which you can use for a fee. Bungalowpark Het Bosmeer is a low-firework park. This means that no fireworks are allowed in the park itself. Of course, the park has no influence on any fireworks being set off outside the park.
Children
There is an animation team for children during the five weeks in the summer holidays. The holiday park has an animal pasture with chickens, goats and rabbits. For the children, there is a playground with a sandpit and a sports field on the holiday park. For bowling enthusiasts, the holiday park has a boules court.
Swimming
The holiday park has a splash pool for the little ones. This pool is filled in the summer and is not pre-heated. The heated outdoor pool located opposite the holiday park gives free access to guests of Lake Forest. In winter, you have free access to the indoor swimming pool de Steense in Wolvega. Just under 300 metres from the holiday park is a natural lake “'De spokeplas”'. Here you can have a lovely swim and relax on the sunbathing lawn.
Group room
The park has a group room, which you can rent for up to 45 people. The group room is ideal for family weekends and parties. Ask one of our employees for more information.

Location and surroundings
Noordwolde is very central and close to many beautiful places. Heerenveen, Steenwijk, Dwingeloo and Appelscha are all within easy reach and great for a day out. Fancy a day on the water? Then visit Giethoorn, which is also known as the beautiful Venice of the North. In Giethoorn, you have several options when it comes to water sports: rent a canoe or a whisper boat and discover the area from the water or choose to be guided through this beautiful area by canal boat. There is also plenty for children to do here. Tips are Duinen Zathe in Appelscha, Ballorig in Heerenveen, the Orchideeën Hoeve in Luttelgeest or IJsstadion Thialf.
